Nationals of Afghanistan residing in Germany, especially those living in Bavaria (Bayren) and Baden-Württemberg can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate at this mission.
Important Information and Instructions
- The applicants must visit the Consulate in person. This document cannot be processed or issued in the absence of the applicant or via post or online.
- Important: Applicants must book an appointment in advance using the following link: [Termin].
Visiting the Consulate without an appointment is not permitted. - Applications are accepted during working days and hours.
Required Documents
To apply for the Police Clearance Certificate, the following documents are required:
- Request Letter: The Applicants are required to submit a formal request letter addressed to the Consulate General. The letter must clearly state the type of service being requested, along with the applicant’s full name, father’s name, date and place of birth. It should also include the applicant’s current residential address and a valid contact number for communication.
- Police Clearance Certificate Form: The Applicants must complete the application form in both English and Dari/Pashto.
- Proof of Afghan Citizenship: The Applicants must provide their original Tazkira (National ID) or Afghan Passport, along with copies.
- Proof of Residency in Germany: The Applicants must provide a copy of their Personalausweis [Sample] (both side – showing the name and address of the holders).
- Support Letter/Email: The applicants must provide a letter or email from the relevant authorities requesting the Police Clearance Certificate.
- Fingerprints: Applicants must have their fingerprints taken on the designated form. Fingerprints can be collected either by an official police station or department, or at the Consulate by the relevant staff. [Download the Fingerprint Form here].
- Pre-paid Registered Envelope: Include a pre-paid registered envelope with your address clearly printed as the receiver. This will be used to send document.
If you cannot provide a pre-paid envelope, transfer an additional €10 to cover postal services and attach the receipt with your application.
Issuance of the Document
The document will be issued after the completion of the following steps:
Fee: The fee for the Police Clearance Certificate is €10. Payments can be made via bank card. Please note that credit cards are not acceptable.
Issuance: Once all requirements are fulfilled, your application will be processed, and the document will be issued. The certificate will then be sent to you via post.
